RRR Trust Fund
The Royal Regina Rifles Trust Fund is a registered Canadian charity that exists to support the Regiment and to perpetuate the memory of the accomplishments of its past and present serving members.
The Regina Rifles have a long and valiant Canadian military history. Among their accolades, they participated in the Battle of Vimy Ridge in the First World War and were the first to land on Juno Beach on D-Day in the Second World War.
6 June 2024 will mark the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings. The Royal Regina Rifles Trust Fund intends to honour the Regina Rifle Regiment’s role in that historic occasion.
Titled “Operation CALVADOS” (named for the potent apple cider that the young men from Saskatchewan found in abundance in Normandy), this initiative will ensure that the heroic deeds of the Regina Rifles will be available for generations to come. We would like the public to be aware of the committee’s efforts and appeal to individuals and corporations for donations to help to pay for Op Calvados.
As the RRR Trust Fund is a registered charity, donations are tax deductible.
